The vision of Mechatronics Engineering, which started education in the 2010/2011 academic year within the Faculty of Technology of Marmara University, is to be a department that takes an active role in scientific, technological, and academic activities at the national and international level, and its graduates are universally accepted.

In line with this vision, our aim as the Department of Mechatronics Engineering is with the synergy created by dynamic, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary programs focused on advanced technology; to train researchers and entrepreneur engineers who are sensitive to the society and the environment, prone to teamwork, advanced leadership skills, and entrepreneurial.

Our main goal is to provide our students with the ability to design electronic devices and communication systems consisting of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical components that require all kinds of complex design, to master production issues, to establish relations and connections between systems, and test the system within the valid physical rules.
